Kristie Brant is the driving force behind Ultimate Pink. With ten years of advertising experience under her belt, along with her entrepreneurial spirit, Kristie set out to create something that would reach out and connect with all types of women around the globe in hopes that it would evolve into something greater than herself. Her strong belief is that when you support a woman in business and make her financially secure, she is given options that enable her to be truly independent; she never has to stay in a situation because she has no way out. Kristie knows what it's like to fully commit herself to a dream and transform it into a successful business. She believes women-owned businesses are a constant expression of putting your heart and soul on the line every day. As a mother of three, she also knows what it's like to be a juggler in the circus (note: Kristie has no actual professional background in circus performing). She also believes that laughter can solve a multitude of problems.
"In the competitive world we live in, I believe that women should empower and uplift each other, instead of tearing each other down." - Kristie Brant

Tara Pelsue is twenty years old, and already has an impressive background in architectural drafting, graphic design, photography, and editing and co-founding a women’s magazine. Not only is she the designer of this website, but the mastermind behind all of these attractive layouts. Every skill Tara has acquired thus far in her life, she did so by teaching herself. When she dropped out of high school in the tenth grade, Tara resolved to live her life in her own individual way. Keep your eyes peeled for Tara's upcoming writings on society, conformity, and many other topics that strike a chord with her, in the article section.

Trish Merlino wasn’t interested in cooking until she was about thirty-six. Growing up, she never even helped her mother in the kitchen. In fact, when she was twenty-three and married for the first time, she had to call home to ask her mother how to make mashed potatoes. Basically, she learned and acquired a love for cooking by watching the Food Network. Some of Trish's favorite chefs are Rachael Ray, Giada De Laurentiis (Everyday Italian), and Paula Deen. Trish excels in preparing a wide variety of cuisines, but her favorite things to cook are pasta dishes. Nothing makes Trish happier than smelling onion, garlic, and a little olive oil when it hits the hot pan.
"Food brings people together in a way that nothing else does, and I am happiest when my family and friends are elbow-to-elbow at the dinner table; conversation is always fabulous." - Trish Merlino

Forty year-old Doreen Foust will be gracing our online resource guide with a recurring column called “The Thoughts of a Modern-Day Married Woman.” Doreen discusses the day-to-day wife and mother wearing a million hats on her head. Having six children of her own, she should know firsthand what this entails. She believes that a mother and a wife must be a cook, teacher, chauffer, nurse, manager, psychiatrist, cheerleader, business woman, and on top of that, a lover and partner to her husband. In her column, no scenario will be overlooked. For anyone who has ever thought at anytime in their life that housewives have the easiest job, wait until you hear what Doreen has to say.

Gregory Longtin is the newest addition to Ultimate Pink’s writing staff. He will be contributing a regular column called “Take It like a Man!” This informative, fun, and entertaining feature will allow readers into the often misunderstood, yet surprisingly simple minds of today’s men. For as far back as Gregory can remember, he has been a sounding board and source of insight into the motivations of men for his inquisitive and often perplexed female friends. Although, he’ll tell you, “we really are simple creatures with simple needs,” he is equally the first to admit that men still find a way to keep their lovers, girlfriends, wives, daughters, mothers, and co-workers befuddled by their actions that usually, well… always contradict their words. Now we have Gregory as our secret weapon. He will take the questions of readers and tell you exactly what your neanderthal is thinking. Enjoy his self-deprecating style and honest to goodness insight into the mind of a man.
